Malcolm Goldring (GB)

Malcolm Goldring wurde in der Nähe von London geboren und studierte am Royal College of Music und an den Universitäten von Durham und Nottingham. Er leitete viele Chöre und ist derzeit Dirigent des Midland Festival Chorus, der Sitwell Singers und des Guernsey Choral Workshop (auf der gleichnamigen Insel im Ärmelkanal). Malcolm Goldring wurde zu vielen europäischen Chorfestivals als Atelierleiter eingeladen, unter anderem zu den Festivals von Europa Cantat. Häufig ist er Jurymitglied bei internationalen Chorwettbewerben. Eine Zeit lang hat Malcolm Goldring mit Jugendchören in Singapur gearbeitet.

Zusätzlich berät Malcolm Goldring Schulen und Hochschulen in England. Er ist Ehrenmitglied der Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) in Großbritannien.

Malcolm Goldring was born near London and studied at the Royal College of Music and the Universities of Durham and Nottingham. He has been musical director of many choirs and is currently conductor of the Midland Festival Chorus, the Sitwell Singers and the Guernsey Choral Workshop (in the Channel Islands). Malcolm Goldring has conducted at many European singing festivals, including events for the singing organisation Europa Cantat. He has adjudicated at a number of choral competitions, and has also spent time working with youth choirs in Singapore.

In addition to his choral conducting activities, Malcolm Goldring is a consultant to schools, colleges and education authorities in England. He is an Honorary Member of the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) in the United Kingdom.
